My bucket list

Everybody has been doing bucket lists recently since someone is hosting a giveaway based on bucket lists. I don't want to enter, but I'm going to write out my bucket list! I think it'll be fun.

1. Go to Australia with Lyssa!
2. Go listen to the Sydney Opera house.
3. Be on the Webb Bridge in Melbourne, Australia.
4. Go to the Hillsong Church in Australia.
5. Travel all over Australia with my camera taking tons of pictures!
6. Go to Maine.
7. Go to France.
8. Go to Nova Scotia.
9. Go to Colorado.
10. Go to Germany.
11. Go to England.
12. Go to Spain.
13. Go to Prince Edward Island.
14. Go to Egypt.
15. Go practically everywhere except South America and Africa.
16. Read 100 books in one year (I've only read 28 since February).
17. Get a second ear piercing right above my first.
18. Go to a Hillsong concert.
19. Make a Caramel Pecan Cheesecake.
20. Finish my sewing projects.
21. Finish a book.
22. Publish a book.
23. Sell at least one of my pictures.
24. Become an amazing photographer.
26. Get married (I'm almost there).
27. Make my bed every day for a week (ha!).
28. Co-write, finish and publish a book with Lyssa.
29. Meet Amber in person.
30. Bake a Creme Brulee.
31. Watch every Fred Astaire movie with Lyssa.
32. Learn how to dance.
33. Finish my surprise project in time.
34. See the movie Hunger Games in theaters.
35. Grow my nails out and not file them down.
36. Stay strong and not cut my hair before the wedding - Lys would kill me.
37. Get my skin clear.
38. Have 5 or more kids.
39. Learn to play His Glory Appears without having to look at the music.
40. Play piano beautifully.
41. Learn guitar.

I think that's about it for now. BTW: Lys, I'm still attached to your skirt!

  1. #1 - why on earth are such young people (because I'm assuming you've seen this on young people's blogs) formulating bucket lists???
#2 - I hope you put, "become a millionaire" on there. After all, that's A LOT of traveling.
#3 - You never finish sewing projects. As soon as you think you're done, there are a hundred more to do. My sewing "in box" is empty and you know how many things I still have to finish, and about others that haven't even been started. (Hello?!? Knitting needle organizer - that fabric is beautiful and so is the one for the sewing room curtains - thank goodness for blinds).
#4 - You actually plan on making your bed???
#5 - Don't worry about getting clear skin - it's a temporary thing, apt to be interrupted by real life, so don't bother wishing for it. Besides, you're beautiful. And NO, I'm not biased - I simply have excellent eyesight.

  2. That's a pretty great bucket list. I see quite a few things on that list that are also on mine.
PS: Did you know that I lived in Nova Scotia?? Just thought I would throw that out there :)

  4. Mom: #1-I thought I said that the bucket lists were because there was a giveaway centered on bucket lists. They had to write a post on their bucket list and then link back. #2-You know I didn't put "become a millionaire" on there... It didn't really occure to me. See, you should be thrilled that you raised me not to think of money being the best things on earth! #3-One can hope that they'll finally be done sewing. Maybe when their fingers fall off! #4-Haven't you noticed a running theme on the bucket list? It's a bunch of stuff you hope to do, but probably wont be able to, that includes making a bed! #5-As a teenage girl I am required to worry about clear skin, I'm programmed to. It's in my genetic make-up... And yes, you are biased!

Hannah: YOU LIVE IN NOVA SCOTIA?! So not fair! I've been dying to go there! It's so beautiful... but I don't have to tell you that, do I?

Autumn: If I ever get to go to Australia I'll look you up!!! I have got to go to Australia one day! I have just got to! As you noticed, I adore your beautiful country and lovely accents! You'd laugh at mine, I'm southern! :)
